Warm weather is fast approaching, and a lot of us start to worry about our foundation staying in place and looking fresh throughout the day. You know what happens ladies, your foundation starts to fade and separate under the heat and humidity and it’s not a pretty sight! I have a solution for you that works wonders and helps to combat these problems plus a few more. The solution is called foundation primer. Just like you prime a wall in your home before painting, you can prime your face before applying foundation. A foundation primer acts as a barrier against harsh elements like hot and cold weather. It helps your foundation to stay in place and look fresh longer. Your foundation will glide on smoothly and the primer keeps it from seeping into your pores or wrinkles. Apply the primer a few minutes after you’ve applied your skincare and before your foundation.

Arbonne Virtual Illusion Makeup Primer- my favorite primer of all! It’s wonderful for all skin types and I love the feel of it because it’s smooth and has a matte non-greasy feel. Available through Arbonne $32.50

Smashbox Photo Finish Oil- Free Foundation Primer-excellent for combination or oily skin types. It’s lightweight formula is enriched with lots of vitamins and gives you a near perfect canvas. You can also tame your hair frizzes with it by applying a little to wet or dry hair. Available at Sephora $36
