We have all been taught to protect our skin from harmful sunrays.  However, this has not been the case with our hair.  For me, it has always been the last part of my body that I would protect from the sun.

One summer before our family beach trip I can remember my mom getting so mad at me for going to the salon and getting highlights. She said, “Don’t you know that you just wasted money.
