LIFE ACCORDING TO LISA – But I’m Not Southern…

Submitted by on Wednesday, 26 August 2009No Comment

lisa-pic-150x150I’m not talking about me, if you listen to the Beauty Bunch on www.blogtalkradio.com then you know that I am Southern but, what if you want to read our magazine or visit our website or ask us a question but you just aren’t Southern? You want to be one but you just don’t live in the correct area of the United States. Well, here’s three easy steps that will make you a guaranteed Southerner:

1. Learn to make Sweet Tea! I have found out the hard way that your tea making skills can make you or break you. Don’t fool with any other brand tea bag than Luzianne. It’s just the best! (I’ve tried them all)

2. Eat tomato sandwiches! This only works with home grown tomatoes, Dukes mayo and good bread! Some people still use white bread for this delicacy but I can’t eat the stuff. Wheat bread is bread, white bread is dough! (Those could be fighting words to some Southerners)

3. Love SEC football! It’s the only conference worth “hollering” for! (Any Southerner agrees with that)

Follow those steps and you too can be a bona fide Southerner no matter where you reside!

Now you can feel free to read Southern Beauty Magazine with none of the guilt.
