IN GOOD FAITH – My Crazy, Hard To Believe, Super Exciting But Highly Frustrating, Yet Absurdly Outrageous Story – aka Jon Bon Jovi, Please Call Me!
Okay, okay, I give in. Many of you have asked me to write about “my story.” Some of my friends think this story is really interesting. Although some probably think it’s a bit far-fetched while others may think, “How tragic!” But the one thing I can say is love or leave it – it’s all true. Not only do I have documentation to prove it but I also have witnesses who can attest to this pretty exciting adventure for this small town girl from Mississippi. Yes, I do admit to having a vivid imagination but truth is stranger than fiction, right? And honestly, I could never make these things up…
I’m not really sure why I’m giving in and agreeing to tell my story to the world after all these years. Maybe I’m just responding out of years of frustration. Then again, maybe it’s time for me to take this one last leap of faith. Maybe I think that it’s like sending a message in a bottle. If the right person happens to read these posts then maybe, just maybe, it won’t have all been in vain.
The story is really a true test of perseverance in the face of obscurity. You know, being the little person. The underdog who holds on until the end and never gives up. David versus Goliath in a test of will and faith. The number behind the name that make this world work. Just the average Joe.
Not only am I doing this to get my message out there, I’m also doing it for all the little people who have big ideas and even bigger dreams. For those who live and breathe with a passion so strong that if they just had that one chance….that one bit of luck. This journey will be a testament for each and everyone one of us who aren’t afraid to get out of the boat and to take that first step.
Whew, this feels really intense already. Don’t worry, I promise it will be entertaining. With an intro like this, how could it not?
Till next time…keep living on a prayer!
