ERIN’S STYLE FILE – Scents And The City

Submitted by admin on Friday, 23 October 2009One Comment

Erin's 150 x 150Last week I blogged about celebrity fashion lines and this week I was inspired to again write about celebs; more specifically, about celebrities entering into the fragrance market. There are fragrances from Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez, and Jessica Simpson just to name a few. Personally, I’ve sampled all of Gwen’s and love them! I also think Jessica Simpson’s first fragrance was delightful.

sjp_perfumeFollowing on the Jimmy Choo heels of her popular fragrances Lovely and Covet, Sarah Jessica Parker will release a new scent in conjunction with her Sex and the City sequel (the perfume will be available in February while the movie comes out in May). The new perfume will be called SJP NYC (catchy!) and has a modest price point of $25 to $49. Also in the works is a bangle with a solid form of the fragrance. Love that idea! SJP NYC is influenced by Sarah Jessica’s beloved Carrie Bradshaw character and has top notes of Italian mandarin, white osmanthus and strawberries. I definitely intend to check it out come February!

I refer to my comment from last week…
“What about celebrity fashion (insert the word fragrance) we DON’T want to see??? Heidi Montag Pratt, Kate Gosselin and Lady Gaga top THAT list!”

that sjp scent looks like it will be nice!
