HERE’S JENNA – CoverGirl’s LashBlast To The Rescue
Have you ever worn an outfit that makes you look forward to seeing people and excited about the day ahead of you? This past year I was wearing one of those outfits. (Keep in mind I am a junior in college.) I had just finished class, and was feeling quite confident in my outfit choice for the day. I left class, stopped by the restroom, and headed across the quad to the food court. About the time I reached the middle of the quad, after saying hello to everyone I saw, I heard a girl call my name. I ignored the panicked look she wore, and assumed she was coming up to compliment my outfit. Boy was I wrong! She ran up to me only to whisper that my dress was tucked into my panties. I spent the rest of the day hoping that people were looking at my face and not my outfit. Although an outfit says a lot, especially a dress tucked in panties; I’ve always thought that a little bit of makeup can help you “make a statement” in a much more positive way.
I really enjoy putting makeup on in the mornings. No, I don’t think it’s something that I have to wear every day, but then again, I have become quite dependent upon it. I have blonde hair so without eye make up on my eyes tend to blend in with the rest of my face. To help my eyes stand out, I always start with black eyeliner. Because I have larger eyes, I line both the top and bottom lid. Then I use CoverGirl’s LashBlast Mascara.
This mascara is incredible because its deep color shows off the length of my eyelashes and gives them a fuller look to help them really stand out. For the finish, I use a white eye shadow on the lower half of the lid, and a cream in the upper outside corners. I then use a black and soft brown eye shadow in the creases of my eyes. These colors can really help blue eyes stand out, (which may help to bring the attention to your face, instead of your outfit in case of a wardrobe malfunction.)
One thing that’s so great about this mascara, besides making your eyelashes visibly longer and fuller, is you can find it for less than eight dollars at any drug store, Wal-Mart, or Target ($7.29 at Target). So happy shopping and if you become a new member of the wardrobe malfunction club, just laugh it off and rest assured…it may be your first but probably not your last so try to be kind to your fellow malfunctioners and give them a heads up. Remember, we’re all in this together!

Hilarious! Wardrobe malfunctions…I am reminded of the time I overslept for work one morning. The power had gone out and I rapidly dressed in the dark. When I got to work I realized I had on one navy shoe and one black shoe.
Thanx for the review! I was JUST looking at this with some friends and wondering how well it worked…good job!
I love my Loreal Mascara but I have wondered about this one. Glad to hear its a good one. I think that mascara is one of those items that women are very “attached” to. HA!

You did a great job hooking the reader with the first paragraph. That was hilarious. I have tried many different mascara’s but am allergic to something in all of them. My eyes swell shut and stay puffy for a week. I would love to use it because my eye lashes are so light in color. I do use eyeliner though which helps.
I have used this Mascara for almost a year now. It is the greatest gift to eyes a woman has been blessed with. I too, as the writer, am a blondie with blue eyes and trust me the only thing I ever make sure that is “perfect” are those baby blues! I have used the waterproof one and the regular one. If you are an avid summer person, Waterproof is the way to go.. It looked like it was on for DAYS!!! It’s truly waterproof. LOL. In fall / winter months, I use the the non-waterproof. CoverGirl’s LashBlast Mascara is great!! And not to mention under $7 as I last purchased it at Wal-Mart
